Refill Adapter for ThermaCell Butane Cartridges

1. To modify them you must make sure the bottle is completely empty and use a paper clip to make sure by poking the brass valve.
2. Gently take a pair of Needle Nose Pliers and grab the brass piece below the gasket.
3. Pull straight out until the valve pops out.
4. Use a drywall screw and screw it into the top of the bottle. Then take pliers and pull on the screw until the check valve pops out. The check valve looks like a little cylinder and might have some blue on it.
5. Insert brass valve back into Butane Cartridge. (Butane Adaptor is now ready for use!)
6. Finally, place the adapter on the butane bottle
7. Fill with Universal Gas Butane Lighter Fluid by inserting the tip on the other side of the adaptor.
8. Press firmly to make seal and refill the cartridge.
